My Favorite Floral Trends for Fall

Florals? For events? If you ask me — always groundbreaking. There are some things that never, ever go out of style when it comes to event planning, and florals is absolutely one of them. From weddings to fundraisers, galas to bat mitzvahs — a stunning display of florals can transform the feeling of any venue and set the tone for the gathering.

With that being said, there are some florals that work better than others for different occasions and seasons. In fact, choosing the perfect florals for your event can be stressful...even for a seasoned event planner like myself!

I’ll admit it, florals aren’t my forté! If you ask me about seasonal dishes or decorative tablescapes, I have got you covered — but deciding what flowers to use for different events can be tricky. However, I don’t let that stop me from learning all that I can about different types of florals and trends. It’s my job, afterall.

Recently, I have spent a lot of time researching the best floral trends for Fall to prepare for my upcoming events, and the process has been so exciting...so much so that I wanted to share my floral findings with you all! Hey, if I was curious about floral trends for Fall, I thought you might be too!

So, without further ado, here’s what I found — I hope it helps!

Feel Good Florals

Chrysanthemums, Sunflowers, Dahlias, Roses, and more: these are all calm and mood-enhancing florals that people are gravitating towards these days. Fair enough, after the past year and a bit, who doesn’t need a little mood boost courtesy of some stunning blooms?

Bold and Neon

Neutrals are on their way out, and bold is back! Add a dramatic pop of color with bright orange and yellows to your event with bright, neon florals!

Monochromatic

There are so many options today for dyed florals these days. Try putting together an arrangement all of which fall in the same color story for a monochromatic moment. Jewel tones like purple and citrine make for stunning one-color bouquets!

Posy Bouquets

Forget about the massive, over-dramatic bouquets. It’s all about small posy bundles, nowadays. Plus, they are much more affordable — win win!

Pampas and Preserved Flowers

There is nothing dry about dried pampas and preserved flowers. If you are more of an understated decorator, these florals will be your best friend. They are beautiful, natural-looking, and super easy to maintain.
